Rishika Bodele, a dedicated athlete, has proudly represented India at the World University Games held in China. Committed to excellence and driven by a passion for both personal achievement and inspiring others, Rishika's journey in professional swimming began as early as her seventh-grade year. Her early start in the sport laid a strong foundation for her remarkable achievements and her enduring commitment to the pursuit of excellence in swimming.

When Rishika was around six months old, her dad introduced her to the world of swimming at Ambazari Talav, nestled in Nagpur. With a swimming tube providing gentle support, it marked her very first encounter with the water. This early immersion laid the foundation for her future relationship with swimming, igniting a lifelong passion for the sport from a tender age.

Despite facing financial challenges, Rishika's father recognized her potential and unwavering passion for swimming. Determined to support her dreams and secure a brighter future, he made significant sacrifices to enroll her in a swimming club. Through his dedication and belief in her abilities, Rishika gained access to professional training and opportunities for improvement, laying the groundwork for her successful journey in the sport. His selflessness and commitment have been instrumental in shaping Rishika's path toward excellence, inspiring her to persevere and excel despite any obstacles she may encounter along the way.

Despite the demanding schedule of swimming during her school days, Rishika managed to excel academically. She achieved an impressive score of 81% in the SSC examinations from Mount Carmel School, Dhantholi, demonstrating her dedication and ability to balance her athletic pursuits with her studies. Building upon this academic success, Rishika opted for the science stream and pursued her Bachelor of Science degree at Taywade College after completing her HSC. Her commitment to both her education and her passion for swimming reflects her determination to carve out a well-rounded and fulfilling future for herself.

Currently, Rishika is pursuing Mass Communication and Journalism at Jain University in Bangalore, further expanding her horizons beyond the realms of sports and academia. This dynamic choice reflects her multifaceted interests and her desire to explore diverse fields while continuing to chase her dreams with unwavering determination.

In addition to her notable achievements, Rishika has also earned recognition as Cadet/CPL No.2 in the Maharashtra Air Squadron of the National Cadet Corps (NCC). Furthermore, showcasing her adventurous spirit and aeronautical prowess, she piloted a microlite aircraft from Nagpur to Chandrapur, a feat that stands as a testament to her courage and skill in the skies.
